Korea is the not only country in the world that is divided. The Korean peninsula consists of North Korea (officially the Democratic Peoples Republic of Korea) and South Korea (officially the Republic of Korea). Vietnam was divided til 1975. The Island of Cyprus is also divided due to the Cyprus Dispute between the Greek Cypriot-controlled Republic of Cyprus and the Turkish Cypriot-controlled Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus.
