The best way to get to Nakhchivan is to fly from Baku to Nakhchivan Airport, just outside the exclaves capital (airport code: NAJ), Azal operates a shuttle service, heavily subsidized by the Azeri government. Flights depart from Bakus Terminal 2 (the old terminal), which is adjacent to the new international terminal.
