Bakau is a desirable suburban area. There are parts where it is populous and there are parts when it boasts a quiet area. Best Time to Visit It is best to avoid the months of July to September because of the rainy season. However, the Bakau, Gambia hotels are much cheaper. The peak season for the town is ranging from December to February.
