All animals require an import license obtained from the Ministry of Agriculture three to six months in advance of travel to the islands. Apply early. There are fees involved. There is no quarantine required for animals from rabies-free countries such as the UK and Antigua, a 30 day period for animals from places of low rabies incidence, like the US or Canada, and any other country of origin not on the previous lists may require a six month quarantine if the rabies incidence is deemed high.
