Thanks for visiting Malaysia especially the Borneo parts. Your introduction hit the point's in term of Malaysia is not just West Malaysia. Save and fun journey to you 2. A bit of history. Singapore, Sabah, Sarawak and Malay Peninsula formed Malaysia in 1963. Singapore opted out of Malaysia in 1965. A bit tricky that Sabah and Sarawak are considered as one of the "State" nowadays whereas in the start we're one of the Country that formed Malaysia. It a sensitive issue to the East Malaysia especially in term of equal partners. East Malaysia are the biggest oil/gas producers in Malaysia but in terms of Development especially infrastructure, we're far behind the west Malaysia. Unequal partnership.

@sarah what can I say about this lovely town Sandakan 🙂 This town remind me so much of my own hometown,Ipoh. A small town with simple living style. nothing to rush here. the people are nice. the foods are great. and the nature are absolutely amazing!! i went here last February 2011 for a 4 days trip. went to various amazing places! im proud to be Malaysian and Sabah is definitely a jewel of Malaysia!

In 2007, Jehovahs Witnesses reported that there are 236 countries, territories, and colonies that they are active in. This is in excess to the number of countries recognized by the UN, which at present is 195 countries. Jehovahs Witnesses list 206 countries by name that they are active in, and 30 other countries are catagorized as a group. There are many countries that we are banned in, that is, it is illegal to be a JW or carry on the activities of JWs. We as Jehovahs Witnesses have come to understand every year that the other countries that are listed on our annual report are countries that we are banned in. Since Algeria , with its capitol city, Algiers, is not listed by name among the the 206 countries in the 2007 report, the assumption would be that Algeria is a country that our activity is banned in. It is possible and highly likely that there are Jehovahs Witnesses in the country of Algeria and the city of Algeirs, however, their activities are not made public.

Andorra has no monetary unit of its own and the Euro has been the official currency from January 2002. Visitors from non Euro countries are advised to bring travellers cheques or Euro cheques and to cash them in Andorra as the exchange rate is usually better than in other European countries. Credit cards e.g. Amex, Visa

Andorra is officially the Principality of Andorra. Andorra is a sovereign landlocked microstate on the Iberian Peninsula, in the eastern Pyrenees, bordered by France to the north and Spain to the south. Believed to have been created by Charlemagne, Andorra was ruled by the count of Urgell until 988, when it was transferred to the Roman Catholic Diocese of Urgell. The present principality was formed by a charter in 1278. It is known as a principality as it is a diarchy headed by two princes: the Bishop of Urgell in Catalonia, Spain, and the President of the French Republic.

Andorra is the sixth-smallest nation in Europe, having an area of 468 square kilometres (181 sq mi) and a population of approximately 77,006. The Andorran people are a Romance ethnic group of originally Catalan descent. Andorra is the 16th-smallest country in the world by land and the 11th-smallest by population. Its capital, Andorra la Vella, is the highest capital city in Europe, at an elevation of 1,023 metres (3,356 feet) above sea level. The official language is Catalan, but Spanish, Portuguese, and French are also commonly spoken.

Due to its location in the eastern Pyrenees mountain range, Andorra consists predominantly of rugged mountains, the highest being the Coma Pedrosa at 2,942 metres (9,652 ft), and the average elevation of Andorra is 1,996 metres (6,549 ft). These are dissected by three narrow valleys in a Y shape that combine into one as the main stream, the Gran Valira river, leaves the country for Spain (at Andorra's lowest point of 840 m or 2,756 ft). Andorra's land area is 468 km2 (181 sq mi).
