Being such a diverse and large country, the differences are much larger than as found in small countries of Europe like England, France or Italy. For example, in South India, they speak Dravidian languages like Tamil. In north, central and west India, they speak Indo-European languages like Hindi. Besides that, the Hinduism of South India, particularly Tamil Nadu, is purer and of an older variety than that practiced in the north, which unlike the south was repeatedly invaded by Islamic Persians and Central Asians. The food differs in spice and meat quantities, and in staple products (rice, not wheat). However, they arent as different as people like to say they are. Both North and South have similar tastes in curries, spices and sweets. Most people from both still practice similar forms of Hinduism, and the basic regional clothing of both is more or less the same - dhoti for men, sari for women. Plus, despite its apparent hostility towards Hindi, many (especially young) Tamilians in urban areas like Chennai can speak fluent Hindi. Rural or small-town dwellers dont speak Hindi, much like they wouldnt in West Bengal or Gujarat or Orissa. The Carnatic music of the South isnt the same style as the Northern Hindustani style, but they are still similar. Its not just the south tip that differs. The far east has much in common with China and Burma, and is predominantly Sino-Tibetan speaking.

The decline of British Empire had started much earlier than that when the British were forced to leave India.After they were denied by the American people its supremacy, British tried to exploit other countries like South Africa, Australia and Asia.In the World War II, England was badly destroyed. It lost its position of the most powerful country and was financially and economically shattered. With billions in debt, it was not in a state to manage the massive Indian empire due to the financial loss incurred during the war.The revolutionaries in India and abroad created an atmosphere where the British did not find them safe while in India.The people were vigorously protesting, revolting, and fighting for freedom.These major factors pressurised the English people to leave India and go back to the place they belonged to.The Indian departure was the end of the British Empire and one after another country got freedom from their loot and mis-rule.

India is a developing country. India doesnt have the ability to restore efficiency in agriculture. The US is a developed country and a large percentage of farming today is done by big companies, rather than family farmers. In USA an average farm is about 250 hectares and in India an average farm is about 2.3 hectares. Indians use poor technology , whereas USA uses the most advanced technology in the world. Indian farmers commit suicide due to hunger and poor life, whereas US farmers do not. Indian rupee rate is very less as compared to USA. Indians farmers struggle a lot, due to lack of facility of irrigation and knowledge, whereas US farmers do not. India mostly depends on rain water for irrigation, some farms in the US have advanced systems for irrigation. India uses US fertilisers, US brand seed, US technology. USA does not need Indians support for their agriculture. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ USA has effectively ruined their land quality because of years of mono-culture of crops like wheat and corn. USA farms are run on the basis of capitalist agendas, therefore whatever can be produced the cheapest is produced. Even things like plastic and sugar is made from corn because its cheap. Individual farming towns in the US have been reduced to ghost towns, because of the mono-culture environment. US is force feeding the its cattle and pigs the excess corn it produces, in spite of the fact that cattle has not evolved to eat corn. This results in substandard meat, which is again shelved in the market or exported. Because of non-diverse over-production of a single crop, US has to force its way into other countries economies, so that they buy the excess crop. USA is where the hybrid varieties of crop took birth, where a farmer has to keep on buying new seeds every planting season from corporations like Monsanto rather than storing the nutritionally beneficial heirloom seeds, which every other farmer does. Because of the intensive use of chemical pesticides, the crops and their derived foods(bread etc.) destroy the gut bacteria, which has resulted in exponential increase in brain disorders, and renaming of Adult-type Diabetes to Type- II because children in the US are suddenly developing diabetes due to abnormal obesity.
