Aryans were nomadic cattle herders. They came from the area that is now Iran and traveled to the area that is now India. They appeared as the Indus Valley Civilization was decaying. The Vedas is a religious book of this time but there are no historically reliable records of this time period.

Nepal was never a part of India ...... King Prithvi Narayan Shah from Gorkha united small nations to form a country called Nepal and it has been Independent, Undefeated since then....... Nepal was not even defeated by British Empire while Indian were defeated and India was ruled by British for 190 YRS EXACTLY..( from June 23rd,1757 to August 14/15, 1947.... British were so surprised by bravery, fierceness and war strategy of Nepalese {also called Gurkhas} that British Army still has Nepalese mercenar.

Being such a diverse and large country, the differences are much larger than as found in small countries of Europe like England, France or Italy. For example, in South India, they speak Dravidian languages like Tamil. In north, central and west India, they speak Indo-European languages like Hindi. Besides that, the Hinduism of South India, particularly Tamil Nadu, is purer and of an older variety than that practiced in the north, which unlike the south was repeatedly invaded by Islamic Persians and Central Asians. The food differs in spice and meat quantities, and in staple products (rice, not wheat). However, they arent as different as people like to say they are. Both North and South have similar tastes in curries, spices and sweets. Most people from both still practice similar forms of Hinduism, and the basic regional clothing of both is more or less the same - dhoti for men, sari for women. Plus, despite its apparent hostility towards Hindi, many (especially young) Tamilians in urban areas like Chennai can speak fluent Hindi. Rural or small-town dwellers dont speak Hindi, much like they wouldnt in West Bengal or Gujarat or Orissa. The Carnatic music of the South isnt the same style as the Northern Hindustani style, but they are still similar. Its not just the south tip that differs. The far east has much in common with China and Burma, and is predominantly Sino-Tibetan speaking.

It lost its position of the most powerful country and was financially and economically shattered. With billions in debt, it was not in a state to manage the massive Indian empire due to the financial loss incurred during the war.The revolutionaries in India and abroad created an atmosphere where the British did not find them safe while in India.The people were vigorously protesting, revolting, and fighting for freedom.These major factors pressurised the English people to leave India and go back to the place they belonged to.The Indian departure was the end of the British Empire and one after another country got freedom from their loot and mis-rule.
