I live in El Salvador and in my experience people listen to all types of music. I know people who listen to: classical, English language rock, Spanish rock, punk rock, heavy metal, reggae, salsa, merengue, cumbia, protest/political, jazz, classic latin jazz, pop, and new age. Thats just among the folks I know.
