I have only been to a couple of digital nomad spots around the world but I must say I have been disappointed with PDC for several reasons. I am a coworking space kind of girl and even though there are a few here, they are all not great. Especially if you compare them to the spaces in Bali Canggu/Ubud for example. In PDC it was all about choosing the lesser „evil“ for me. They are okay, but I didn‘t feel the same community vibes or very inspired in these places. The choices of healthy food here is very limited. Most places are all about meat, cheese and if you find something which sounds good and more healthy often is very bland. As others said it is very touristy but there is quite a few things to do, but in order to find out whats happening you need to be in whatsapp groups, which for me is not ideal. Getting around is decent as everything is quite close, yet the high temperatures make it always a sweaty endeavour. Its mostly only comfortable to go out when the sun goes down. Overall its not a bad place to be, but its not somewhere I see myself stay for a long time.

White grape juice: Use white grape juice as a substitute when you want to add sweetness, or deglaze the pan. For a punchier substitute, try mixing a tablespoon of vinegar or lemon juice per cup of grape juice. Chicken or vegetable stock: Substitute stock for white wine when you want to add depth of flavor to a dish.
Beside above, can I use apple cider vinegar instead of white wine? If you happen to have it on hand, apple cider vinegar is a great substitute for white wine. Its sweet like the wine and has a similarly aged depth. Add the same amount of vinegar as the amount of wine called for in the recipe.
Keeping this in view, what is a good substitute for dry white wine in a recipe?
One easy substitution for dry white wine is white wine vinegar. Made from dry white wines, this type of vinegar has many of the same flavor characteristics as white wine — sans the alcohol. You can also use other light-colored vinegar such as white vinegar, rice vinegar or apple cider vinegar.
Is white wine vinegar the same as white cooking wine?
White “cooking wine” is white wine — usually generic industrial grade wine (that is, nothing special) — with salt and sometimes herbs or other flavorings added. White wlne vinegar is vinegar that is made directly from white wine (usually of similar quality to that mentioned above). That is the simple difference.
