The Río Paraguay and Río Paraná and their tributaries define most of the countrys borders, provide all its drainage, and serve as transportation routes. Most of the larger towns of the interior, as well as Asunción, are river ports.
The main religion in Martinique is Catholicism. But you can also find many people who are Adevntist of the Seventh Day (kinda protestant christian denomination) and Baptists. Those two last are religions very widespread in the West Indies and to the Afro-American people.
